Details

This tea is a ‘pure tea,’ meaning all the tea leaves were plucked from one cultivated varietal, the Tsuyuhikari hybrid. In other words, it is not blended. Tsuyuhikari, meaning “shining dew,” has a sweet taste and salty aromas of pelagic scents, seaweed, and summer maritime shores.

Ingredients:

Japanese Green Tea.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS (8 oz. serving)

  1. Scoop two teaspoons of Tsuyuhikari green tea into your infuser.
  2. Heat water to 175° (just before boiling).
  3. Pour 8 oz. of water over tea leaves.
  4. Steep tea for 2-3 minutes (depending on taste preference).
  5. Remove infuser and enjoy tea.

POTFUL:

Simply add to your infuser two teaspoonsful of Tsuyuhikari per 8 oz. of water and place it in your pot, then add the appropriate amount of 175° water and let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the infuser and serve!

ICED TEA INSTRUCTIONS:

As with some of our other extremely fine loose-leaf teas, we do not recommend drinking Tsuyuhikari over ice.
